Eve Ensler & Staying Safe

EveEve Ensler, author, Tony-award winning playwright, performer and activist, lives in New York City.  She is best known for having written “The Vagina Monologues.”

Eve is also founder of the nonprofit V-Day, a global movement that uses films and stage productions to raise awareness and end violence against women and girls.

On February 14, 2013 Eve’s latest campaign, One Billion Rising, evolved as a call to survivors of violence on every continent to rise and dance with their rage joy and love.

NOTE: There will be a One Billion Rising North Bay walk in Petaluma on February 14.  This will be followed by a One Billion Rising indoor event on the same date in Santa Rosa.

There will also be a production of The Vagina Monologues in Petaluma, CA, February 20 & 21 at Fourchette.  Proceeds will benefit Guided To Safety.
